Whispering Hollow

Whispering Hollow is a gorgeous, slow-burn adventure. You explore a foggy village solving environmental puzzles and piecing together what happened to its people. The art is hand-drawn and moody, and the ambient sound design pulled me right in.

Puzzles lean on observation rather than trial and error, and the game trusts you to notice details. Nothing is timed, so you can wander and think at your own pace. I finished it over three evenings and immediately wanted to talk about the ending with someone.

If you want atmosphere and story over action, this is a standout. Just play it with headphones.
