About

Pixel Compass started as a group chat where three friends kept sending each other screenshots of games they couldn't put down. At some point the messages got long enough that a website made more sense. We're a small editorial team, not a studio and not tied to any publisher.

Every game we cover gets played on real devices, usually across a mid-range Android phone and an older iPhone, because that's what most people actually own. We care about how a game feels in short sessions and whether it respects your time.

We pick titles based on what our readers ask about and what genuinely surprises us. RPGs and adventures get the most attention because that's where story and progression meet, but we happily wander into strategy, racing, and casual stuff too.

Nothing here is sponsored. If a game annoys us, we say so, and if a small feature makes us grin, that goes in the review as well.
